Implementasi Ad-Hoc Protocol Pada Tandem Multihop Wireless Network

Pemanfaatan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT) terutama di daerah terpencil masih tergolong rendah, padahal tersebut juga dibutuhkan untuk implementasi smart farming atau village yang bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat pedesaan. Mahalnya biaya investasi jaringan IoT menggunakan selular Wi-Fi menjadi salah satu penyebab ini lambat. Penelitian kami sebelumnya telah mengembangkan alternatif perangkat dengan konsep Tandem Multihop Wireless Network focus pada pengembangan simple message scheduling. Penelitan routing protocol ad-hoc tandem multihop wireless menganalisis bagaimana kekurangan dan kelebihan tersebut. Scenario pengujian menempatkan sensor tower Saluran Udara Tegangan tinggi (SUTET). Setiap secara periodic mengirimkan data ke monitoring server melalui setiap tower. Skenario tersebut, kemudian diimpelementasikan MININET-WIFI. Pengujian dilakukan mengetahui delivery probability, Latency Average, Jitter. Secara umum kedua Ad-Hoc diuji yakni OLSR BATMAN memiliki performance sama ketika ukuran dikirim adalah sebesar 1 MB, tetapi Ketika dinaikkan 2 beberapa node lebih baik dari BATMAN.
